Houkago Grind Time is back, with the Andrew Lee (Ripped To Shreds, Andrew Lee’s Heavy Metal Shrapnel, Skullsmasher) led project, loosely described as anime inspired mincecore/goregrind, set to release its third album on August 16 via Outrageous Weeb Power Productions (digital) and Obliteration Records (cd, with vinyl to come).
The new record is called Koncertos Of Kawaiiness: Stealing Jon Chang's Ideas, A Book By Andrew Lee. Previous releases include Bakyunsified (Moe To The Gore) in 2020 and Houkago Grind Time 2: The Second Raid in 2022.
The new record is primarily Lee, but also include guest spots by Sleazy Derek and Mark Chen (both of Myxoma), Joseph Schafer (Colony Drop), Tom Maher (Mass Extinction, ex-Organ Dealer), Joe Warkentin (Archagathus), and more.
