Habak, a crust punk band from Tijuana, Mexico, has announced the reissue of their debut album, plus upcoming live dates in the US and Europe.
Their debut album, Insania, originally released in 2015, the record will re-release on Julne 28 via Persistent Vision Records. The band's crust punk sound draws influence from scream, post-metal, and more, with emotional and melodic flourishes to compliment the harsh and heavy elements. The reissue was remastered by Jack Shirley, and adds a live song, recorded in 2023 in Steve Roche's (Saetia/Off Minor) studio in Philadelphia, PA. This marks its first release on vinyl. The label is also repressing Habak's split LP with Lagrimas, released in 2023.
