Formed by members of Null and Bulging, Day Job explores more aggressive territory for Brenton, Kevin, and drummer Jake. The band released their debut EP earlier this year and will now release a full-length, The Auger, with Hex Records.

“'[The Auger'] sort of started as a song idea that Brenton had to write a song about digging a hole. As we got closer to recording I said ‘we should just write the whole record about digging a hole’ and that’s what we did. The record is about digging a hole," states Kevin.
