Nirvana's second album In Utero is 30 years old, with a new reissue coming in varied packages, with new songs, full concert recordings, and more. The core formats include 8LP super deluxe, 5cd super deluxe, 1lp + 10", and digital formats. The reissues release on Oct. 27.
First released on Sept. 21, 1993, the 6x platinum record has been reissued in the ensuing decades since its release. This new collect (at maximum), includes 72 songs and 53 previously unreleased tracks with live sets from Los Angeles, CA and Seattle, WA, which was the band's final Seattle performance. Jack Endino (who recorded Bleach) and Bob Weston (who assisted Steve Albini with In Utero) both directly handled the reissue.
