Dead Leaf Echo will release their third album, The Mercy of Women, on September 15th via Paper Cup Music. Meanwhile, the vinyl will be released through Lost in Ohio. You can check out their new track, "Call" over at DestroyExist. The new album was originally slated to release in 2020, but with the pandemic hitting, the band took extra time to "explore the structure and texture of the songs over the course of several years."
The songs encapsulate the gift that the female of the species has given, from the dance hall Hacienda passion of album opener "BOO" to the forlorn forgiveness of the masses in "Forgivination."
