Joe Strummer and The Mescaleros: Live at Acton Town Hall will soon release on remastered cd and 2xLP, courtesy of Dark Horse Records. The 16-track live recording captures Strummer live at a London benefit show for striking firefighters. Not only does it include early renditions of Mescaleros songs, but it also features an onstage reunion between Strummer and The Clash guitarist Mick Jones, who come together to perform "Bankrobber," "White Riot," and "London's Burning." It is the first widespread vinyl pressing of the recording, besides a limited 2012 Record Store Day release, and its first time ever on CD.
The record releases on August 18.
