Kristian Karlsson, the synth player in Cult of Luna and bass/vocalist in Pg.Lost, has a new album coming from instrumental, post-rock-esque project Soars. Soars previously released Enfold in 2021, a solo project at the time.
“I got tired of discarding ideas I've written that didn't fit PG.LOST, but at the same time were too good for my ears to throw away. PG.LOST as a collective works at a relatively slow pace, while I by default write music all the time... so eventually it became clear to me that I needed a new outlet for all those ideas," Karlsson says in a press release.
On the new Repeater, which will release in November on Pelagic Records, Soars adds Christian Augustin (Stiu Nu Stiu, live drummer of Cult of Luna) on drums, for 8 tracks in total.
