Melodic punk band Freewill is back with a new single, "The Weight" The song explores anxiety and depression, two prevalent mental health issues that face many of us.

Formed back in 1987 with a love of both East and West Coast US hardcore as inspiration, the band's first show was in 1988 opening for Agnostic Front and The Offspring, then recording their debut album for Wishingwell Records, which collapsed before the band could release their album. They moved on to other projects before finally releasing said debut, Sun Return, in 2015 on New Age Records, along with a benefit show reunion after the death of Jon Bunch (Sense Field), followed by a brand new album called All This Time in 2021 and, now, "The Weight" today, which will be available on a split with Spark of Life soon via New Age.

Upcoming Shows:

6/1 - Long Beach, CA @ Supply & Demand w/ Cosmic Kitten
