Wolfbrigade is back with a new EP, out this Friday, and Scene Point Blank is excited to host the record in full ahead of its release.
The d-beat driven punk band with influences from the crust and death metal scenes shares three new songs this time around, leading off with the pummeling title track, “Anti-Tank Dogs,” which is equal doses crust and Motorhead. The first two songs showcase their traditional sound, with closer “Necronomium” exploring -- and conquering -- a more epic sound with post-metal tones to wrap up the 12-minute record that’s equal parts rage and call to action.
Formed in 1995, the band has seven full-lengths thus far. Their latest offering comes courtesy of Armageddon Label (US) and Agipunk (EU).
"On Anti-Tank Dogs, we stare down into the abyss of conformity," the band says via press release. "It's our journey to the twilight world, the underground, a place that has no map or directions. Just follow no rules, abide by no laws, obliterate all obstacles, dismiss fear, and tell everyone to fuck off. Born to breed!"
