Fresh off a hometown show this weekend, The Methadones and Red Scare Industries have announced the re-release of This Won't Hurt..., the band's fifth LP, which will be released on vinyl for the first time.
The album originally came out 15 years ago, in 2007, and was remastered for vinyl this year, along with a bonus track, for the new package.
Prior to last week, the band had not played live since 2015 and wanted new material for their upcoming dates, which include a stop at The Fest 20 in October, which helped inspire the reissue.
The band first formed in 1999 with members of The Riverdales and Screeching Weasel.
The currently lineup features a new guitarist, Simon Lamb (Screeching Weasel, Dan Vapid and The Cheats, The Riverdales).
