Maryland-based instrumental trio Lathe, playing drone-marked doom rock, will release their first full-length album on July 29 courtesy of Grimoire Records/APT 66. The album will be called Tongue Of Silver and it's first single is the song "Vinegar."

The band formed in 2018, developing its sound and fine-tuning compositions up to the present (and presumably beyond). The album showcases eight tracks in total, which draw on the aforementioned styles with nods toward country, punk, sing, and black metal and different points in the soundscape.

Lathe has also released two 7"s: Cavalier and a collaborative split with George Cessna.

Tongue Of Silver Track Listing:

1. Vinegar
2. Drain
3. Heat Wave
4. Rodeo Fumes
5. 351W
6. Cauliflower
7. Journey To The East
8. Morris
