Formerly known as Jerkagram, Rusk will soon release their debut album on Nefarious Industries this summer.
The band is comprised of twin brothers Brent (drums) and Derek (guitar) Gaines and play experimental rock with math rock and post-rock influence. They have been playing together for over a decade prior to the recent name change.
The new record will release on July 1 and is called Om Improvement, with six tracks over 45 minutes, including musical collaborators Paul Christensen, Patrick Shiroishi, Lex Helgerson, and Jason Adams. It releases on limited edition cassette and digital platforms.
