R.E. Seraphin has a new EP at the ready.
Swingshift will release on May 27 via Mt.St.Mtn. (USA), Tear Jerk (Australia), Dandy Boy Records (cassette), and Safe Suburban Homes (UK cassette). A new video is out now, "Playing House" (below).
The new EP features 7-songs and was home recorded, including covers and originals inspired by classics. Seraphin play sguitar, joined by Matt Bullimore (Mantles), Joel Cusumano (Cocktails), Yea-Ming Chen (Dreamdate, Yea-Ming Chenand the Rumours), Jasper Leach (Tony Molina), and guitarist Owen Kelley (Sleepy Sun).
Due to shutdowns, etc, Seraphin states: “Now, I could record whatever I wanted in my bedroom and send it to whoever I wanted, free of any intra band politics,” he says. “Recording something as I’m writing it has an immediacy that really works for me.”
