Drummer Antonio Sánchez will release a new album, Shift (Bad Hombre Vol. II), via Arts Music, a Division of Warner Music.
The 16-song collection features numbers collaborations, including a new single (out now) with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross). Other collaborators include Dave Matthews & Pat Metheny, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Meshell Ndegeocello, Kimbra, Lila Downs, Ana Tijoux, Becca Stevens, Silvana Estrada, MARO, and Thana Alexa.
Many of the songs are reconstructions, but the Reznor/Ross piece was co-written by the three artists (Reznor wrote all lyrics).
Bad Hombre (volume 1) was released in 2017.
