Formed in 2016 in Springfield, IL, Starter Jackets has announced an upcoming album on Rad Girlfriend Records. The new album will be called Dead Malls, formally releasing on May 20.

The band features members of Hospital Job, Attic Salk, and Local Drags, who came together to write songs about sports logos and dead technology, as legend has it. The lineup, specifically, is Fred Malcom (drums), Carter Bibb (bass), and both Luke McNeill and Lanny Durbin on vocals/guitar duties.

Listen to "In Smithereens" from the upcoming record.
