Arcade Fire, looking mysterious in the photo next to us, is back with a new single and an upcoming new record.
The band shared "The Lightning I, II" earlier this week on digital platforms to precede the May 6 release of their sixth studio album, WE.
Produced by Nigel Godrich, Win & Régine, the album was recorded in multiple locations and totals 40-minutes in run time, defined by two separate "I" and "II" sides, respectively symbolizing fear and loneliness which rises to joy and reconnection.
The album releases via Columbia Records.
