Ryan Allen (Extra Arms, Thunderbirds Are Now!) released a new 4-song EP today, I'm Not Mean. The solo effort pulls from '90s indie influences, with simple yet quirky melodies and a sing-song element to counter it's off-the-beaten-path approach to the pop format.
