Australian post-rock group Hazards of Swimming Naked has announced the release of their debut album, Our Lines Are Down. The release marks the record's twelfth anniversary and comes as part of Bird's Robe Records' 10th anniversary celebrations. It's the first time the album will be available internationally -- coming officially on Oct. 15 on CD and digital platforms.
Originally from the far north of Queensland, the band is now based in Brisbane and has also released Take Great Joy in 2018.
Speaking of the release, Bird’s Robe Director Mike Solo says:
Hazards Of Swimming Naked have long been a favourite of many of the Bird’s Robe bands and I was really happy to work with them on their second album release Take Great Joy back in 2018. Their debut Our Lines Are Down remains one of the most beloved Australian post-rock albums and is a landmark record for the band and our little scene. It deserves greater attention internationally and that’s why we are giving it renewed attention in 2021 as part of our anniversary series.
