Ian Miller, currently of Kowloon Walled City and also a member of Puig Destroyer, Strangelight, Collapse Culture and more, has a solo record coming out soon under the name Interesting Times Gang. To be titled Beats, No Rhymes, No Life, the project is a seamless fusion of sounds befitting of its title, drawing synthesized dub, funk, industrial, ambient, and hip-hop elements together.
Miller performed, recorded, and mixed the record, with some help from Graham Scala (Collapse Culture) and Tron Jovi (Guerilla Ghost). Check out lead single "Postfontaine" to get an idea.
Pax Aeternum (a digital imprint of Dark Operative) will release the record on Oct. 15.
