Merge Records: a Georgia set of covers

Merge Records has released a new covers album called Going to Georgia, featuring covers of songs originally written by Georgia artists. Artists such as Superchunk, Will Butler, Titus Andronicus anad TORRESS cover the likes of R.E.M., Yo La Tengo, The B-52s, and Otis Redding.

Available exculsively through bandcamp and Merge (through January 5), the compilation will donate 100% of proceeds to Fair Fight and Mijente, two organizations focused on voting rights in Georgia and beyond -- inspiring by the upcoming US Senate runoff election in the state.
