Southern Lord has shared news (and a trailer) for a new 4-song EP by the "West Coast anti-Trump hardcore/punk super collective Dead End America. Originally formed by the lat Steve Hanford of Poison Idea, the current lineup of features current and former members of Queens Of The Stone Age, EyeHateGod, The Accüsed A.D., World Of Lies, Ape Machine, and more, and plans to release Crush the Machine on digital platforms on Oct. 30 (7" vinyl coming in November).
The EP was recorded prior to Hanford's death earlier this year and also features artwork and liner notes by Mark Lanegan.
Primarily written by Hanford and guitarist Tony Avila (World Of Lies, Why Won't You Die, Aborted Cop, Here's Your Warning), the record also features guitarist Ian Watts (Ape Machine, Minmae) bassist/vocalist Nick "Rex Everything" Oliveri (Mondo Generator, The Dwarves, ex-Kyuss, ex-Queens Of The Stone Age), lyrics and vocals from Mike IX Williams (EyeHateGod, Corrections House, Arson Anthem, Outlaw Order) and Blaine Cook (The Accüsed A.D., The Fartz, Toe Tag).
