The ever-busy Osees have another neew record set to release next month. Titled Metamorphosed, the new recording is a 12" vinyl release set for Oct. 16 release via Rock Is Hell.

This record featured five songs recorded during the Face Stabber sessions that did not fit onto the 17-track album in 2019.

"This is just how the release landed. We are trying to stagger the releases a bit this year and we have a salvo coming down the pipe, so that’s how the cookie crumbled. Metamorphosed would’ve been out sooner but with the virus restrictions, shipping of LPs has obviously slowed down and so has manufacturing, so here we are," ringleader John Dwyer explains of the timing.

Check the video to "Electric War" after the bump.

Tomlab/Cast-Face (2008)

Stumbling upon this band after reading an intriguing interview (albeit several years after it was initially published), I popped The Master's Bedroom is Worth Spending a Night In from Thee Oh Sees in my stereo expecting some acoustic lo-fi recordings. Instead, what I heard was a hundred times better as the "Block of Ice" exuberantly bounced out of the stereo … Read more
