On Sept. 25, Thurston Moore returns with new album By The Fire, releasing via The Daydream Library Series. The Sonic Youth founder has shared a new single, "Sirens," this week to prep listeners for the adventure. There's also a short film teaser (mermaid warning) online here.
The record was mostly recorded in March prior to COVID lockdowns, and was completed in the months since. It contains a mix of solo guitar/vocal tracks along with full band tracks.
