2019 isn't over yet, but the news of 2020 releases continues. On Feb. 7, Acetate Records will release Play That Rock n' Roll, the lucky thirteenth studio record from the Supersuckers.
Tracked over four days at Willie Nelson's Austin, TX studio, the new record continues Supersuckers' riff-heavy anthemic and countrified punk rawk style. It's not all balls-out rock though, as the grou palso covers Michael Monroe's "Dead, Jail or Rock n' Roll" and presents an unlisted version of the Allen Toussaint-penned "A Certain Girl."
The band has several live dates lined up in January.
