Chicago's Lower Automation are back with the new self-released album Shoebox Companion, out Friday July 27. The SPB devout may remember when we premiered Maps in 2016. This time around the band has matured, making the new album paradoxically more refined and more chaotic at the same time. Frequent comparisons include Dillinger Escape Plan, At the Drive In, and Cave In.
Enjoy the math rock meets metal and punk here:
The band played a release show at Subterranean Downstairs in Chicago last weekend and will hit the road in support of Shoebox Companion on August 2-August 10.
