Phoenix, AZ band AJJ, formerly Andrew Jackson Jihad, have announced the release date of The Bible 2, their first album under the new abbreviated moniker. The band kicks off a release show on August 18 and will formally release the record the following date on SideOneDummy Records.
The Bible 2 is the band's sixth album. As for the name change, singer Sean Bonnette said in a recent interview that, "among many reasons, the change cleared a space for new imagery and allowed their music to define them, not their band name."
