Alkaline Trio's Derek Grant set to release debut solo album

Alkaline Trio drummer Derek Grant has announced plans to release his debut solo album Breakdown on January 20, 2015 via Red Scare Industries. The album was recorded on a laptop in motel rooms and friends' houses across the US. Breakdown was written while Grant was going through a divorce and dealing with substance abuse issues, which prompted the name of the album.

The 8-track album can be pre-ordered through Interpunk, and was largely written during 2008/09.
