Release date set for Mike Patton score

Mike Patton's score to the film The Solitude of Prime Numbers, also inspired by Paolo Giordano's novel of the same title, will be released on November 1, 2011 on Ipecac Recordings. The score has been described by Patton as a "sonic departure" from his usual style, building of a cinematic style involving isolated notes and subtle transitions. The Italian film was originally released in 2008.
