After over a 6 year wait, Social Distortion fans will be able to get their hands on the band's 7th studio album, Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes, next year on January 18th being released on Epitaph. The first single, "Machine Gun Blues" will be available via iTunes on November 16th.
The press release from Epitaph had this to say about the new album:
Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes builds on singer Mike Ness’ twin footings, one in the haunted American landscapes of Hank Williams and the other in the raw swagger of Exile-era Rolling Stones. While these twin pillars have always been behind Social Distortion’s anthemic songs, on Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes they come roaring to the fore, in one of the hardest rocking, most soulful, albums of Ness’ career.
Social Distortion is currently on tour supported by Lucero and Frank Turner
