Hands to record with Hum frontman

Posted by Jon E. on May 15, 2010

North Dakota hardcore/rock band Hands has announced plans to record their next Facedown Records release in January. The effort will be tracked at Great Western Record Recorders in Tolono, IL with Matt Talbott (of Hum noteriety) at the helm. According to the group, "The new record is being tracked using tape reels, totally analog. What you sound you hear live from us is what you're gonna get on the next album!" Regarding their new material, Hands comments: "We are so excited about this material, and we hope you will enjoy it! As many of you know, all of the Hands albums have had a very different tone, in fact not one of our albums sound even close to the other. Which has been great, because we have always been able to experiment. These jams that are currently in the works, are building what we hope to be our best, and most memorable release to date."
