Two short little tidbits about upcoming releases from Pelican: First off, for those that can't wait for the release of the band's upcoming full-length, The Fire in our Throats Will Beckon the Thaw, you'll be pleased to hear that the Japanese release date has already been set - June 15th. This version will feature a second disc with the March Into the Sea EP, a remix by James Plotkin, and a demo version of the track "Sirius," which is also on the new full length. The US release won't come out until later in the year, August 23rd, which seems like forever away. Secondly, Pelican's split 7" with Playing Enemy is currently at the pressing plant. The 7" will contain the same demo version of "Sirius" as can be found on the above mentioned release. The album will be available for purchase from the band as the label, Hawthorne Street Records, in the near future. P.S. Dates are still being confirmed for the US tour. Hold your horses.
