Pete Shelley, the vocalist/guitarist of the influential Buzzcocks, passed away last week at the age of 63 due to an apparent heart attack.
The Buzzcocks formed in 1975 and were known for songs including “Ever Fallen In Love…(With Someone You Shouldn’t’ve),” “What Do I Get?” and “Orgasm Addict.” The band was primarily active from 1975-1981, then again from 1989 to the present. Shelley also released albums under his own name in between Buzzcocks releases.
