The cause of death for Cory Smooth, also known as Flattus Maximus, guitarist for alien rockers GWAR has been announced. Smoot passed away as a result of a pre-existing coronary heart disease. Smoot died last month following a show in Minneapolis, MN. The band is currently touring as a four-piece and, along with Metal Blade Records, has set up a fund to help Smoot's wife and his unborn child.
