There has been a recently confirmed report that Phil Vane is dead. The vocalist of long running crust/grind band Extreme Noise Terror has passed away recently. Phil was 46 at the time of his passing. No details have been released regarding his cause of death. In the meantime the band has released the following statement regarding his passing:
"The rumours are true - we're sorry to announce that Phil passed away recently. The band will make a full statement soon but for now we need to take the time to come to terms with this terrible loss."
