Posted by Jon E. on April 20, 2010

The family of infamous punk impresario Malcolm McLaren have asked mourners to observe a "minute of mayhem" before his funeral. Joseph Corré, the son of McLaren and fashion designer Vivienne Westwood, requested that fans play a minute of loud raucous music at noon on April 22nd "in celebration of Malcolm's life." The private funeral is expected to take place in London's Highgate Cemetery after a procession through the city. The former Sex Pistols manager and solo artist passed away on April 8th from mesothelioma, a form of cancer associated with asbestos exposure.
