Hell on Wheels' Tour Stories: Remembered, Remixed, Remastered

First published in 1994, Hell on Wheels' Tour Stories: Remembered, Remixed, Remastered is back and bigger in 2024. The new collection takes the original book of tour stories from early punk bands, expanding with more artists and more tales of the road from the likes of Bad Religion, All, Dead Kennedys, X, The Specials, Rocket From The Crypt, Ramones, and more. It is authored by Greg Jacobs and publishes via University of Hell Press, with preorders on July 25 and release set for Oct. 25.

The original version consisted of 20 stories and the "remastered" edition has 54 more, at a total of 373 pages.

Jacobs is or has been band manager for Big DRILL Car, Drive Like Jehu, Rocket from the Crypt, and Supernova, and worked at record labels including Enigma, CRUZ, SST, Cargo, (one day at) Capitol, and Trust.

Tommy's playing with Uncle Monk, a bluegrass duo bringing full-circle the original mission statement of CBGB's. Marky's in and out of the Misfits. Ritchie's now brought up … Read more
