We Got Power!, a 1980s southern California zine from David Markey, Jordan Schwartz, and more, is being released in the form of a hardcover photo book rife with photos of the early West Coast hardcore scene, including Black Flag, the Minutemen, Social Distortion, Redd Kross, Suicidal Tendencies, the Descendents, and MDC. To complement the photographs, several essays on the early days of hardcore are included. The founders went on to produce films as We Got Power Films.
