In September, Wayne State University Press will issue Brett Callwood's The Stooges: Head On – A Journey Through the Michigan Underground, chronicling the Detroit band led by Iggy Pop. The biography was first issued in 2008 in the UK but has been expanded, including the 2009 dead of Ron Asheton. The foreword comes from Alice Cooper and Glenn Danzig contributes the afterword.
