Nine Inch Nails mastermind Trent Reznor recently participated in a Facebook Q&A regarding his latest project, How To Destroy Angels. He confirmed in the session that the groups lineup consists of Reznor, his wife Mariqueen Maandig and frequent NIN collaborator Atticus Ross.
He also revealed that a full album from the band is tentatively expected out in early 2011. Meanwhile, when asked about what he felt he could do with How To Destroy Angels that he can’t with Nine Inch Nails, Reznor offered the following response:
“…This EP is a very early phase of this project. Yes, it sounds more NIN-ish than I believe it will as we progress. To me, HTDA frees me from some of the constraints I’ve begun to feel (primarily emotionally) in NIN. NIN is not dead and I am about to work on some material that I believe will be quite different than previous NIN very soon.”
How To Destroy Angels are on course to release their debut six song EP this summer.
