Dez Dare has released another single in advance of the full-length album, Ulysses Trash, due on August 19.
The new single is called "Tyrannosaurus Shake."
The new single is a little bit serious, a little bit silly, as Dez Dare explains:
My father always taught me you need a strong handshake, I have always hated them. The wide variety of shakes have always been of interest to me. The damp. The grip. The fingers only. Then there is what I like to call, the Tyrannosaurus Shake. When one dips their fingers downward, pinching the top fingers of the shake. This sends shivers up my spine. Just like the little claw hands of the terrifying beast it is named after. I think the pandemic has given us the perfect opportunity to do away with this archaic tradition and simply say no! No more!!"
Ulysses Trash is the second album from the band, a follow-up to Hairline Ego Trip, released in 2021 and play psyched-out punk tunes that are concise and energetic in spirit, but with additional textures that waver between different moods.
