Out next month, The Copyrights have shared the second single from their upcoming Alone In A Dome album, their debut full-length with Fat Wreck Chords (and seventh overall).

Playing Midwest-style pop-punk, the band formed in 2002, then slowed down around 2014. They return after a seven year hiatus with the new record.

As we enter the first week of fall, check out "Stuck in the Winter" (because that's all us upper Midwesterners think about anyway).

Live dates:

25 Sep 2021 in Carbondale, IL, US @ The Lost Cross
2 Oct 2021 in Paducah, KY @ YAC-toberfest at Carson Park
22 Oct 2021 in Indianapolis, IN, US @ Melody Inn
23 Oct 2021 in Milwaukee, WI, US @ X-Ray Arcade

Report
Red Scare (2014)

I like most of my music to have a pop bent. Yes, I like it rough around the edges and only mildly repetitive, which often rules out some of the biggest names that fall under ye olde “pop-punk” flag. Ramonescore, for the most part, just doesn’t motivate me like the actual Ramones did.But every now and again, a truly poppy … Read more

Make Sound
Red Scare (2007)

Like the Bible's steadfast conviction in the second coming of Christ, I knew this day would someday come. And goddamnit, it's here! Pop punk - real pop punk - has returned. While far too many bands are priding themselves convoluted songwriting, a whole new batch of bands - some old, some new - are popping up and proving that all … Read more
