We’re sharing something new at Scene Point Blank today, the track “Labyrinths (and other writings)” from cellist Randall Holt (Knest, Horne + Holt).
The song comes off his upcoming solo album titled Inside the Kingdom of Splendor and Madness, which showcases his cello throughout the full album, which mixes somber, emotional and epic moments over the course of 9 songs.
The record comes out this Friday, April 20, on Self Sabotage Records.
While Inside the Kingdom of Splendor and Madness is a solo project, Holt also performs with Knest and Horne + Holt, and he has collaborated with Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Yann Tiersen, Eric McFadden Trio and jazz composer Adam Rudolph.
