Quarterstick Records has signed San Francisco-based avant- rock trio Sholi. The band recently finished recording their debut self-titled LP with Greg Saunier of Deerhoof and will see it released on February 17th.

Bridge Nine Records has announced the signing of Massachusetts hardcore outfit Defeater. The band released Travels earlier this year via Topshelf Records. Bridge Nine will re-release the album in both CD and LP formats on February 24th, 2009. Read more
