Experimental and avant-garde imprint label 5RC, from Kill Rock Stars, is back. Named for 5 Rue Christine in reference to Gertrude Stein, the label seeks to share new and innovative music. Previousl releases included Deerhoof, Xiu Xiu, Hella, Metalux, and others. The label returns to mark its 25th annivesary.

The relaunch begins with GER079 - Liquiddd Changesss, out Nov. 4, by Metalux co-founder MV Carbon + avant artist Charlemagne Palestine. 

A single -- and the shortest track on the album -- is available now in advance, “Glass from Sand,” defined by "eerie piano and a graceful yet unhinged cello reside with celestial electronics," building to climax and later relaxing again.
