No Sleep Records signs Aficionado

Posted by Jon E. on June 16, 2010

Official press release: No Sleep Records is proud to welcome Albany, NY's own Aficionado to the family. Drawing influence from an array of bands ranging from At the Drive-In, to Cursive, to the Hold Steady, Aficionado has a developed a unique style they are happy to call their own. With roots in punk music, the band mixes organ, flute, and occasional horn arrangements into it's unorthodox blend of post-punk. The band's No Sleep debut EP "When It Comes To Creation" is produced by the legendary Don Fury (Bayside, Judge, Quicksand) and will be in stores and online this fall. Head over to the bands MySpace page now to listen to a song from the EP.
