Youth Attack Update

Posted by Michael on August 12, 2009

Youth Attack Records recently provided an update on three brand new releases. Here is what the label had to say:

The MK-ULTRA "Discography" 2 x LP is here at last. 55 tracks of some of the finest most raging HC ever made, documenting the bands' entire history from 1993 until their demise in 2000 on two long-playing records. Here included are both classic EP's, splits with LOS CRUDOS and SEEIN RED, the "Statues" demo, as well as all their essential compilation tracks. Illuminating all this is a thick, high-quality 24 page booklet jam-packed with all their various artwork, flyers, lyrics, and ephemera, laced with tons of out of control live photos. First press of 500 on white vinyl, housed in a stunning gatefold sleeve that includes a download ticket of the entire release plus an additional, violent live performance from the heyday of The Fireside Bowl, circa 1995. Classic, innovative, timeless Hardcore. Side note: MK-ULTRA will be playing a reunion show in Chicago at Beat Kitchen October 3, 2009. Be there. NAZI DUST gets an official release of their incredible debut cassette tape, originally self-released in two quiet pressings of 40 copies that immediately vaporized on instant. Their sound is a morbid conglomeration of classic rage given a fresh belly up disembowelment with perhaps the sickest vocals ever captured. Edition of 200 on LOUD pro tapes, comes with raw photocopied inserts. CULT RITUAL gets a much needed repress of their monumental LP, this time on brown see-through fecal wax captured in extra heavy silkscreened chipboard covers. Stunning presentation of a must-have national landmark. Comes with 22" x 22" double-sided poster. Edition of 500 copies. Additionally, a vast amount of obscure distro items have collected, most of them unavailable elsewhere and in incredibly low quantities. New tapes from Vucub Cane, Horrid Cross, SQRM, and Body Rot; stunning zines from Cali Dewitt and Irradiated Corpse are just few of the treasures laying in wait...
