New Age Records has announced the signing of Last of the Believers. The band, which is comprised of former and current members of Reach the Sky, Rise Against, and Ignite, self-released an EP last month. The band is planning to issue a three-song 7" through the label later this year. Last of the Believers frontman Steve Jennings had this to say about the signing:
The artists and bands that have come out through New Age Records have not only changed my life, and help define who I am, but have also stood for something that means the world to me. They stand for something that is bigger than music and bigger than a scene. They stand for honesty, staying true to yourself and trying to make this world a better place. New Age to me is so much more then music and bands, it's an ethic, and that ethic lives inside me today. I am forever grateful to New Age Records and Mike Hartsfield for being a piller in the hardcore community that has not swayed with terrible trends and flash in the pan ideas. Having a record on New Age Records is nothing short of a dream come true and all I wanted since I started screaming into a microphone.
