V2 Downsizes / Artists Left Without Label

According to Billboard, Sheridan Square, the company the owns and operates V2 Records, has let go the entire V2 staff and will reorganize the company within its Nashville offices. According to the article, Sheridan Square will retain the rights to the V2 artists' current catalogs, but will no longer be releasing new music from the artists. V2 was home to such artists as The Blood Brothers, The White Stripes, Burning Brides, Alkaline Trio, Isobel Campbell, The Adored, and many more. The label will still exist, but mostly in namesake.
