The band's full-length debut, already recorded at Black Dimension Studios (owned/operated by Stein Sund of Thundra), will see release in early 2007. Finland's Omnium Gatherum come to Candlelight with already a nice worldwide fanbase. The band entered Southeast Studios in Karhula, Finland earlier this month with producer Teemu Aalto. Stuck Here on Snake's Way will see release in April. The album follows their previous recordings - Years in Waste/2005 and Spirits and August Light/2003; both album's released via Nuclear Blast. Oslo-based Pantheon I, featuring vocalist/guitarist Andre Kvebek (1349) and guitarist John Espen Sagstad (Trollfest/Sarkom) are currently working on their Candlelight debut. Combining black, death, and progressive metal, the band will appeal to a broad-range of metal fans. Pre-production recordings of three songs ("Where Angels Burn," "Core of the Soul," "Decent into Darkness," plus the band's recording of Emperor's "Thus Spake the Nightspirit") are available at the band's official website. How the World Came to an End is expected for an early 2007 release. Together since 1992, the avantgarde band have numerous recordings available (original demos released by Hammerheart, subsequent recordings via Code666). UTD is the label debut from Norwegian extremist Furze. The album features guest drumming from Frost (Satyricon/1349) on two of the album's eight punishing tracks. Earlier this fall, Candlelight UK reissued the band's previously unavailable early recordings, Necromanzee Cogent and Trident Autocrat (originally released in 1999 via Norway's Apocalyptic Empire Records); both available shortly via Candlelight USA's web shop. UTD is planned for a February 20 US release. Hungary's Sear Bliss, recently confirmed to perform at Prague's Winter Assault Festival on December 15, will begin recording of their Candlelight debut in March. The album is expected for release during the summer months. Formed in 1993, the unique black metal band released their debut, Phantoms, in August 1996. Its release was greeted with favorable reviews from essential metal press throughout Europe. The band's most recent record, Glory And Perdition (Red Stream), features a guest appearance by Mayhem’s vocalist Attila Csihar.
