Ipecac Fall Releases

Posted by Michael on June 23, 2005

Ipecac has lined up three fairly unique releases, even for them, for a fall release. More info on each release can be found below. First off, Ipecac will be releasing Crime and Dissonance from famous film composer Ennio Morricone. Unfortunately there is no other details avaiilable about this release yet, so your guess is as good as mine. The album is due out September 6th. Secondly, supergroup East West Blast Test, which is a collaborative project between former Spazz guitarist Chris Dodge and drummer Dave Witte of Municipal Waste, Burnt By The Sun fame will be releasing their debut effort. Popular Music for Unpopular People is set to hit stores on September 20th. Finally, Ipecac will release the the sixth full-length from St.Petersburg band Messer Chups. One review described the band in this manner: "... combine a love of surf rock, plenty of theremin, the guitar of The Cramps, the lounge feel of Combustible Edison, the zaniness of Satanicpornocultshop..." Crazy Price will land in stores on October 18th.
